Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Amazon's deals show up on the same product listings, so every button on this page opens the listing with today's price, on sale or not. These are the flight sim PCs, graphics cards and controls we'd buy at full price. If one is discounted, all the better.
Should you wait for Black Friday?
Nobody can tell you which items will be discounted, so weigh it this way:
- Buying a gift, or need it for Christmas? Buy when you see a price you're happy with. Waiting for a deal that never comes leaves you short on time, and popular controllers do sell out.
- Buying a PC or a graphics card? Memory and graphics card prices have climbed all year, because AI data centers are buying up memory. A sale won't undo that, but a few weeks' wait costs little if your current PC still runs the sim.
- Buying for a PS5? MSFS 2024 supports only a handful of controllers on PS5, and the T.Flight Hotas 5's stock comes and goes. If it's in stock, don't gamble on it.
Gaming PCs and graphics cards
The three PCs above are the top picks of our PC guide for MSFS, which checks every PC against Microsoft's MSFS 2024 spec. A PC sale is worth most when it's on the processor and the graphics card: MSFS leans on a big-cache processor (AMD's X3D chips) and 12 to 16GB of graphics memory.
Already have a PC? A graphics card is the upgrade that changes the most:
Check your power supply and case before you buy a card. Our graphics card guide explains what to check on the listing.
Flight sticks, HOTAS and yokes
A flight controller is the single biggest upgrade from a gamepad, and it's the easiest gift: one box, plug it in, fly.
Not sure what works with what? Our controller guide checks any stick, yoke or pedals for PC, Xbox and PS5, and the HOTAS guide covers DCS, Star Citizen and Elite too.
A first flight sim kit as a gift
For someone who has an Xbox or a gaming PC and has never flown a sim, this is everything they need:
On a PS5, swap the stick for the T.Flight Hotas 5 above; the pedals plug into it too. The game for PS5 is sold on the PlayStation Store, not as this code.
How to tell a real deal
- Check who sells it. Buy from Amazon.com itself or the maker's own store. Other sellers sometimes list the same item well above its usual price, especially when stock is short.
- Check the exact model. Several sticks share a name across consoles: the T.Flight Hotas One is for Xbox and PC, the Hotas 5 for PS5 and PC. On Xbox, a controller must say "Designed for Xbox".
- For a PC, read the spec, not the badge. Look for 32GB of RAM (Microsoft's recommended amount for MSFS 2024) and at least 12GB of graphics memory if you'll fly above 1080p or in VR.
- Compare with last month, not the "list price". A big percentage off a price nobody paid isn't a deal.
Product links go to Amazon, and we earn a commission on purchases at no cost to you. We picked these at full price from our own guides; a sale doesn't change what we recommend. We don't test hardware ourselves: specs come from the makers and Microsoft, stock from Amazon, checked November 6, 2026.
