HP OMEN 16 RTX 4070 vs Lenovo LOQ 15 RTX 4060 for X-Plane 12: RTX 4070 gap wins for serious sim pilots
The HP OMEN 16 scores 62.5/100 against the Lenovo LOQ 15's 54.75/100 — a 7.8-point gap that translates directly to headroom in GPU-heavy X-Plane 12 workloads where the RTX 4070 Laptop GPU's extra VRAM bandwidth and shader throughput matter. Flying VR city flyovers over photogrammetry-heavy zones like Manhattan or dense approaches into EGLL with Ortho4XP overlays, the OMEN 16 maintains tighter frame times where the LOQ 15 starts dropping into reprojection territory. The LOQ 15 holds its own on flat-screen VFR cross-country legs at medium texture settings and suits budget-conscious pilots who aren't pushing QHD or VR.
