MFG Crosswind V3 Rudder Pedals vs Virpil Controls VPC ACE-TORQ Rudder Pedals for MSFS: Tied scores, split by price tier.
Both units score 92/100 on our model-derived scale, meaning real-world pedal feel and axis precision are effectively equivalent at the rudder input level. The MFG Crosswind V3's well-established hydraulic damper tuning gives it an edge during crosswind ILS approaches into EGLL where precise, consistent rudder modulation matters most. The Virpil VPC ACE-TORQ targets pilots who want deeper spring resistance customization for tailwheel-heavy VFR flying across MSFS 2024's photogrammetry bush strips, and typically sits at a higher price tier — making the Crosswind V3 the stronger mid-range value proposition.
