Acer Nitro V 15 vs ASUS TUF A15 for X-Plane 12: RTX 4070 pulls an 8.2-point gap that matters in VR and photogrammetry.
The ASUS TUF A15 scores 62.5/100 versus the Acer Nitro V 15's 54.3/100, and in X-Plane 12's GPU-weighted workload that gap translates directly to more headroom when the sim's blade-element physics engine and rendering pipeline are both under load. The Nitro V 15's RTX 4060 holds its own on light VFR cross-country legs with default scenery and moderate draw distance, where the CPU workload stays low enough that 16GB DDR5 and the i7-13620H don't become bottlenecks. The TUF A15's RTX 4070 paired with the Ryzen 7 7745HX rates clearly ahead in VR city flyovers over photogrammetry-heavy zones and during dense online multiplayer sessions at congested Class B airports, where frame-time consistency separates the two machines.
